Yo-Yo is a professional hair & make up artist in Shoreditch and throughout London. She specialises in fashion, beauty, editorial, stage, film, theatre, commercial and TV - both with hair and make up. She is constantly seeking new opportunities to be involved in creative projects throughout London, Essex, Surrey and beyond!
Yo-Yo Tayler has a wide range of potential. The skills include from traditional hairstyling & make-up to the latest trend of airbrush make-up for HD filming. With creative, unique, original and experimental ideas and techniques including special effects make up in Fulham, stage make up in Hammersmith, period make up in Chiswick and fashion make up in Kensington.

Yo-Yo is well experienced with all forms of ethnic origin, skin tones and age groups (from young children to very elderly people).
Lately, Yo-Yo has done over 40 short films, over 20 music videos, several bluescreen shoots for bands, many TV commercials, corporate DVDs (including Sheraton and Woolworths) and a feature film. The film won a "Best Film Award" at Portobello Film Festival, it is a romantic, action-comedy thriller with professional stunts and martial arts experts. It required a lot of special effects for both hair and make-up, including minor prosthetics.
Yo-Yo has recently finished some "shorts" which involved a professional comedian, a tap dancer, a pair of twins (little girl and boy) and a romantic-comedy with a glamourous Hollywood-look. She also found time for a CD/DVD shoot for a female Japanese pop-duo from Epic Sony Records.
She has just finished working on a hip-hop music video in Shepperton Studios. This had a huge number of dancers, rappers, models and extras. She has also worked with a solo male singer, a 4-strong female pop group, two 4-strong male bands (one with a female chorus), and 8-piece hip-hop unit, the UK launch of Wildlife Works at London Fashion Weeks, editorial shoot for British Heart Foundation, Sci-Fi horror and chilling thriller drama.

There are some online videos Yo-Yo has worked on as a hair & make-up artist. Please take a look when you have time, some of the music videos are on MTV, the films have been screened internationally and the TV commercials have been on-air.
Yo-Yo is available 7 days a week, on an all-day basis. She is very experienced and flexible for both indoor & outdoor shooting and filming. She is more than capable to work with an actor's hair & make-up at the same time. Yo-Yo can also do nails on request.
Yo-Yo has a knowledge of styling, props, painting and a large range of skills to help where possible. She is happy to work with enthusiastic or serious people who have a commitment for creative and/or quality work. Pay is not her primary concern, so please feel free to contact her whatever your budjet.
Whilst Yo-Yo is based in London, she is happy to travel to throughout the UK and abroad if requested.
